I’m Liza Lalita Lee, G.G., founder and designer of Sati Gems Hawaii.
For me, jewelry has always been about more than adornment. It is about beauty, energy, connection, and remembering who you are.
As a GIA Graduate Gemologist and Crystal Energy Guide, I bring together my lifelong love of gemstones, more than 35 years of island living, my travels around the world, and my deep connection to nature to create jewelry that has both beauty and meaning.
Each Sati Gems Hawaii piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in Hawaiʻi using natural gemstones, pearls, and precious metals. I create in small batches and one-of-a-kind designs, giving each piece its own unique character and story.

Living in Hawaiʻi for more than 35 years has shaped who I am and how I create.
My inspiration is everywhere: the ocean's brilliant blues, tropical flowers, shells and coral forms, mountain trails, warm island light, and the quiet moments I spend surrounded by nature.
My travels have also deeply influenced my work, especially my connection to India, where color, spirituality, gemstones, craftsmanship, and ancient traditions have inspired me throughout my life.
My designs reflect these worlds coming together: East meets island life, grounded in nature and created with aloha.
The Meaning of Sati
During my travels and spiritual studies, I became deeply connected to the concept of Sati.
Sati can be understood as mindful awareness and remembering to return to the present moment.
That meaning became the heart of Sati Gems Hawaii.
I believe jewelry can become a personal reminder: to pause, to feel, to remember a place or moment, to connect with an intention, and most importantly, to remember yourself.
Gemstones with Meaning
My background as a Graduate Gemologist gives me a deep appreciation for gemstones' natural beauty, rarity, and individuality. My study of gemstone energy has given me another way to connect with them through their symbolism, traditions, and the intentions we choose to associate with them.
When I select a gemstone, I look beyond its color and beauty. I think about how it feels, what it represents, and the story it may carry for the person who eventually wears it.
Because sometimes we aren't simply collecting beautiful things.
We are collecting moments, feelings, memories, and pieces of our journey.
Today, I continue to live and create on the beautiful island of Oʻahu. Every Sati Gems Hawaii piece expresses my journey, and I hope the piece you choose becomes part of yours.
